- #879675 important setserial: Append to kernel boot string "8250.nr_uarts=8". After reboot I have got nodes for serial devices up to /dev/ttyS7 but when I trying to set using commnad setserial /dev/ttyS4 or upper, I have got error "Invalid argument". Using /etc/serial.conf no error messages in kernel log, the ports simply does not work. on bugs.debian.org pending by Gabor Rozsa reported updated upstream
- #850762 important setserial: directly invokes init scripts, should use invoke-rc.d on bugs.debian.org pending by Andreas Beckmann reported updated
- #459912 wishlist would be nice if one can disable a fifo via setserial on bugs.debian.org pending by Folkert van Heusden reported updated
